They say that cleanliness is next to godliness.  There are some that may feel that to be a bit exaggerated.  But we can all agree that whether or not it’s next to godliness, cleanliness is definitely next to happiness.
I’m sure we can all relate to the wonderful feeling we get when we’re clean and in clean surroundings, especially those who work some pretty dirty jobs.  That hot shower when you come home, washes the weight of the day away.
Even the feel and smell of freshly laundered clothes has almost therapeutic effects.  This is evident in a recent ad campaign of a popular laundry detergent.
We all benefit greatly from being clean and being in a clean environment but for some it seems difficult and near impossible to achieve and maintain.
Things like homelessness, depression and financial hardship can stack up enough to make one feel like there’s no point to even trying.
Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing  some thoughts and tid-bits from my own life experiences on how to overcome such obstacles.
